Seminars & Format
-
Our seminars are designed for veterinarians and veterinary technicians/nurses. Whatever your role in the clinic, the sessions are built to be practical and immediately useful in daily practice.
-
Each seminar runs as half-day sessions: we begin with an afternoon on day one, then meet in the mornings on days two and three. The half-day structure is deliberate - it keeps the learning focused and leaves you free time to explore wherever we are.
-
Each day centers on a focused half-day session - an afternoon on day one, then mornings on days two and three - with coffee breaks built in and the rest of the day free. Sessions are relaxed and interactive; smart-casual dress is perfectly fine.
We email the presentation slides to registered attendees 2-3 weeks before the seminar, so you can have them on your preferred device during the sessions - ready to follow along and annotate as you like. The rest of your time is yours to explore, rest, or spend with whoever you've brought along.
We also often take photos during our seminars for future event and marketing materials. If you'd prefer not to appear in them, just let us know at the event or email us beforehand - no problem at all.
-
All sessions are conducted in English.
-
Our seminars are deliberately small - typically capped at around 40 participants. Keeping numbers low means real discussion, genuine access to the speaker, and the kind of close interaction that larger conferences can't offer.
-
Every seminar is led by board-certified specialists recognized by the American Board of Veterinary Specialties (ABVS) or the European Board of Veterinary Specialization (EBVS). You'll find the speaker for each seminar, along with their background, on its individual seminar page.
-
No. EUVetCE is fully independent, with no commercial sponsorship. That means our content is shaped by one thing only - what's clinically relevant - rather than by any company's products or priorities.

If we need to make changes
Occasionally, circumstances beyond our control may affect a seminar. The program schedule is subject to change, and while we make every effort to deliver each seminar as planned, we cannot guarantee the attendance of any individual speaker. We reserve the right to cancel a seminar if necessary. In the unlikely event that we cancel, you'll receive a full refund of all registration fees paid - though EUVetCE Experiences will have no further liability beyond that refund.
-
Yes. During registration we'll ask about any dietary requirements or allergies, so we can make sure the coffee breaks and welcome reception work for everyone. If you have accessibility needs or anything else we should know, just let us know and we'll do our best to help.
-
We love that so many attendees turn the trip into a family holiday. The lecture sessions and coffee breaks are reserved for registered participants, but the welcome reception is a more social occasion - you'll have the chance to let us know if you're bringing a guest when you register.
CE/CPD Credit
-
Yes - our programs are RACE-approved for continuing education credit, typically 14–16 hours depending on the seminar. Each seminar's RACE approval and exact credit hours are confirmed on its individual page.
-
Your certificate of completion is emailed within 5–7 days after the seminar. If it hasn't arrived by then, just email us at hello@euveterinaryce.com and we'll sort it out.
-
In many countries, continuing education and professional development costs - and sometimes associated travel - can be tax-deductible for practising veterinarians. Rules vary, though, so we recommend checking with your own tax advisor for your specific situation.
Travel & Accommodation
-
Each seminar page includes accommodation details under "View Accommodation Details," including our recommended hotel. For most seminars we arrange a limited number of rooms at a discounted rate for attendees, so we would suggest booking early to take advantage of it.
-
Most of our attendees travel from the US, Canada, and the UK and do not need a visa for short stays in the EU. However, the EU is introducing ETIAS, a new travel authorization for visa-exempt visitors, expected to come into effect during 2026. Once it's live, travelers from these countries will need an approved ETIAS before entering - it's a quick online application, not a visa.
If you do require a visa to attend, we're happy to provide a letter confirming your registration to support your application. Just get in touch with us at hello@euveterinaryce.com.
Entry requirements can change, so we recommend checking the official EU site for the current status and applying in good time before you travel: travel-europe.europa.eu/en/etias
Attendees are responsible for ensuring they have the correct travel documents for the host country.

Yes - we strongly recommend it. Look for a policy that covers trip cancellation and interruption, as well as medical emergencies, so you're protected if plans change unexpectedly.
