How to Get to Bled Rose Hotel
The Bled Rose Hotel is located just steps from Lake Bled, about 35 km from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) and 55 km from Ljubljana city center. Getting there is simple and offers several options:
By Airport Transfer (Recommended)
Private transfers from Ljubljana Airport to the hotel take around 30–40 minutes and can be arranged in advance. This is the most convenient and comfortable way to arrive directly at the hotel.
By Taxi
Taxis are readily available at the airport, with the journey to Bled taking approximately 30–40 minutes.
Both Uber and Bolt operate in Ljubljana, offering convenient transportation options. Uber is available directly from Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) to Bled and other destinations. Bolt, however, does not pick up passengers at the airport but can be used for travel within Ljubljana city. For those preferring not to use ride-hailing apps, traditional taxis are available at the airport. Services like Taxi Metro and Taxi Rondo operate in Ljubljana, offering reliable transportation options.
By Shuttle Bus
Shared shuttle services run from Ljubljana Airport and Ljubljana city to Bled several times a day. The journey takes about 45–60 minutes, depending on stops.
By Train
Bled is connected to Slovenia’s railway network, though trains require a transfer. From Ljubljana, take the train to Lesce-Bled station (about 45 minutes) and then a short 10-minute taxi or bus ride to the hotel.

Frequent buses connect Ljubljana Bus Station with Bled (approx. 1 hour 20 minutes). The main bus station in Bled is a short walk or taxi ride from the hotel.
By Car
